Phantom Limb's Newest Incarnation

Phantom Limb's Newest Incarnation

Over the weekend, we've been enjoying the transition to our newest, all-Ethiopian version of Phantom Limb. The idea behind Phantom Limb is to give our customers a new and unique coffee experience with each version and the blend of Ardi and YirgZ is the most floral espresso we've served in our cafes to date. We've been pulling espresso shots for a couple days now, but it's been a hit among the Huckleberry family, baristas and customers alike.

Speaking of Ardi and YirgZ, we are still waiting on a delayed green coffee shipment from our importer. We hope that this coffee will arrive Tuesday and we'll be able to roast all the coffee on our normal schedule, but should the coffee will not arrive, we won't be able to roast it until Wednesday.

Finally, we're happy to announce that we have a new Kenyan coffee on its way from the Gondo Cooperative, located in the Murang'a region. We sourced this coffee from our friends at Elephant Importers and it was our favorite Kenyan coffee we tried this year. More info to come, but we plan on releasing this coffee fairly soon. There is a slight chance we'll roast it for production next week, depending on shipping schedule and our first test roast, but count on seeing more from Gondo two weeks from today.
