We're going to be launching quite a few new coffees over the next couple months, and there's no better way to start of the Northern hemisphere season with a sweet and juicy coffee from Yirgacheffe.
Beriti comes to us from small farms in Beriti, a tiny community in the southwest area of the larger Yirgacheffe region. Super high growing altitudes, impeccable processing and wonderful Ethiopian heirloom coffee varieties help add up to a super juicy and clean fruit bomb. We think it tastes like raspberry iced tea and green apple Jolly Ranchers, with delicate florals and zippy lemon-orange brightness. It's a super refreshing coffee, and will be a great go-to for pourover and iced coffee over the next few months.
Next week we'll add one more to the Huckleberry roster - Atitlán El Grano from Guatemala. Same farmers who grew Pueblos Mayas last year, but with a new cooperative name - we'll spare you the details until next week, and keep them coming.
