Back in 2011, the dream of Huckleberry Roasters became a reality in Denver, CO. It's now owned by friends & proud coffee people, Koan Goedman & Jason Farrar, who both share the core belief that business should build a sense of collective culture and community by investing in people.

From its humble beginnings in Koan's small garage, Huckleberry has grown into a coffee company with two retail cafes, a thriving list of national & international wholesale partners, and the best employees on the planet! HUCK, as it is affectionately known to employees & locals, invests in people -- from our producer partners to our staff & guests, and into our communities!

What does "investing in people" actually mean?

As it pertains to coffee, HUCK is committed to building a sustainable coffee business that prioritizes being a reliable roasting partner to the smallholder farms and coffee co-ops we work with. More generally, we seek to be a responsible business that actively supports local and global NGO’s and community-based organizations that support those who needs it the most, both within & beyond the coffee industry. And, when it comes to our immediate coffee family, Huck encourages a healthy workplace, acting kindly and compassionately to strangers and co-workers alike, and supports finding a balance between work life & personal life.

Most importantly, at the end of the day, HUCK remains an eclectic bunch of proud coffee people!
