We're excited about rolling out some holiday retail and merchandise in the shops, and fully expect a very busy next couple months of roasting! Huckleberry Roasters diner mugs, t-shirts, travel mugs and other goodies coming down the pipeline. We're hoping some special coffees show up in the U.S. before the end of the year, so stay tuned for more news on that front.
For all of you Blue Orchid Blend fans- good news! Both components got a refresh over the last weeks; fresh crop coffees from Nicaragua and Brazil have given a bit of new life to our traditional take on a house blend. It's still beautifully nutty, chocolatey, heavy-bodied and approachable for all coffee drinkers, but now there's just the slightest pop of fruit to keep things interesting. We think you'll love it!
We're also really digging our Central American coffees right now. Costa Rica Angostura continues to blow us away; it's loaded with honey sweetness that coats the mouth, but sparkles with some really nice, crisp fruit and finished with candied nuttiness. Really nice coffee! The Honduras Mendoza continues to hold a soft spot in our hearts for its approachability, but it's a sneaky coffee because there is loads of nuance and complexity there too!
